At NDE Institute, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to train for a new career position. Because of this, we stand ready to assist you in providing options to cover the cost* of your training with us.
Currently, we offer the following funding options for our students.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Funding
President Barack Obama signed the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) into law on July 22, 2014. WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. Congress passed the Act by a wide bipartisan majority; it is the first legislative reform in 15 years of the public workforce system. WIOA supersedes the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and amends the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act, the Wagner-Peyser Act, and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
WIOA programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Labor; at the state level, local workforce development boards administer the programs. In North Carolina, WIOA participants are serviced through a network of NCWorks offices, and in South Carolina, WIOA participants are serviced through SCWorks Centers and local youth providers.
As students of NDE Institute, a WIOA Eligible Training Provider in both North Carolina and South Carolina, you may be eligible to receive full funding to cover the cost of your enrollment in either our Nondestructive Testing (NDT) training program or our ICC Special Inspections training program. For more information on eligibility to receive WIOA funded services, please contact an NCWorks or SCWorks Center near you.
Institutional Need-Based Discounts
NDE Institute offers a limited number of need-based discounts, defined as reduced tuition, based on a predetermined set of eligibility criteria to students who are not eligible for WIOA funding. For more information about eligibility requirements for our discounts, please email us at email@example.com.
